Benefits of Co-op Living

  • Managed by the members.
  • Democratic decisions through voting.
  • Fenced in backyard, your own carport, laundry hook-up, fridge/stove in the unit, electric water heater, playground, extra parking stalls.
  • Carpeted rooms, linoleum or laminated floor in the kitchen, bathroom and hallways.
  • Two pets permitted (pets must be spayed or neutered, for the second pet $100 damage deposit required).
  • Member Obligations

  • Members required to participate in at least one the committees. From time-to-time also has to be on the Board of Directors.
  • Members must participate in work parties (ie. Spring clean-up, fall clean-up, ad-hoc work parties.)
  • Participate in regular committee monthly meetings an bimonthly General meetings.
  • Each member has task to up-keep the common grounds approximately 4 times per year. (ie. Lawn mowing, trimming, weeding, sprinkling etc.)
  • Must have monthly housing charges paid on time.
  • Members have to up keep their own units and surroundings.
  • Must respect their neighbors and their properties.
  • Keep the noise level down.
  • Follow the rules and policies set up by the members and Board of Directors.
  • Purchase tenancy insurance.
